Hi all. I've had my Maytag dishwasher since August and I just noticed something. The upper spray arm doesn't reach the corners of the upper rack. I've never had anything come out dirty from this machine, but now I'm paranoid about putting glasses or mugs in the corners. One jet at the end of the spray arm is angled so maybe it does reach the corners. Someone tell me not to worry!

I have a tall-tub Maytag, too, and I've never had a problem with dirty glassware coming from the corners up the upper rack. Worry not, my good man! Your mighty Maytag will get the job done. While the TL'er washers may have gotten a quality boost by becoming rebadged/upscaled Whirlpools, the dishwashers would definitely suffer if the current Maytag washing system is replaced with Whirlpool's. |

I've always thought a good test for a dishwasher was ashtrays. Many fall flat when dealing with them - but I've been surprised by the performance of a few. I'm not saying you should take up smoking (although your friends will think you're cool ;-) but it's one of those particularly hard things to clean...
