About 5 years ago my grandmother went to live at a retirement home and i moved into her home. She's had these since they were brand new, even got the original operating manual for the washer, and I've been using them up until about 2 months ago when the dryer stopped heating up. Everything else on them still works. I've been looking around to see if there was anyone that would be interested in them and i came across this site. I'm getting ready to move now and need to move them or dispose of them by mid August. I live in Bloomington Illinois, but if you want me to ship them I'm sure we can work something out. I've created a photo album of some pictures i took of them. I only have a camera phone but if you want better pictures I'm sure i can borrow a friends and get you some.

That's a very nice set - I've only seen those DE-50 dryer mounts in the service books!

I grew up with that washer.

Ah, it brings back memories. Unfortunately due to my current circumstances I cannot take them off your hands. Those are keepers from an era where machines were meant to last.

If you cannot keep them, sell them. I'm sure some of our club members would be interested.

We do not believe in throwing vintage machines out.

Good Luck,
James

I'm interested. I've coveted the early A206 ever since it got 4th place in 1969's CU. I always liked that turquoise on black power fin-ette and the brushed chrome on blue backsplash. email me at kjayvazian@comcast.net
