I have this beautiful 1-18 in my basement, well it's not so beautiful anymore, but it washes fine still. But there is absolutely no timer motor there. You have to spin it by hand to get it to cycle through the wash. It has been that way since I first saw it when we moved in, came with the house.

I cannot find a model number anywhere, I am guessing it was probably on the control panel's back panel but that is not anywhere to be found. Could it be anywhere else? Is there any other way I can identify the year?

What do I need to get this puppy running again? I know that there is no timer motor, but is there something else in there, alittle belt or something that I would need to get it going? The timer seems to be in working order and the plate that it looks like the timer motor mounts on is there. Am I missing something?

Where can I find these parts, is there an online dealer that everyone uses? Is there a list I could go off from to find some of these parts?

Thanks for the help

Take the front off. IIRC, there is a wiring diagram there, and a model #.

Any timer motor from another 1-18

should work fine. Kenny is right the model number will be on the inside front panel or glued to the tub. That is an early machine 1970-73.

That's good news that any should work. Where is the best place to find parts for these? Or maybe a few places I could try? Thanks.
