Well, awhile back I turned on the Bendix and immedialty it went into spin mode. Thought it was a stuck solenoid but everything there seems to be working. It is spinning all through every cycle. I am guessing I'll have to take the transmission off and look at what is going on inside, but before I do I thought I would see if anyone has any advice. Thanks

Brian, it could be lacking the proper amount of oil causing the clutch plates not to slip properly during the wash phase. You are going to have to rebuild that tranny.

Hi Brian. My '47 Bendix is acting up. The mechanic already has 3 of my machines at his shop but when he was here on Friday,
he examined the Bendix. The motor hums but the drum does not tumble. He said when he brings some of my other machines back, he will take the Bendix down the shop for a good going over and that the motor may need to be rewound.
