1955 GE dishwaser commercial. I had one of these installed and used it for about a year. Its a great dishwasher and really does get dishes very clean, but the lack of a filter requires that everything be scraped off the dishes first. I still have one of these in my workshop, in GE's Sunny Yellow.

The gal is Joan Davis, a wonderful person! Especially since she loves GE appliances!

1955 GE Dishwasher

I remember renting an apartment back in the late 70s that had this type of dishwasher. The thing never worked and could not get anyone in to repair it, so I used it to store pots and pans. I seem to remember that this machine didn't have a spray arm but had a propeller that looked like it slung water on the dishes. Correct me if I am wrong!
