I've had so much fun creating the first in the series of Living Photo that last night I continued on and created the second "Living Photo". Here are what I call my Four Fabulous First, they are all the very first Automatic Washer of each of these four companies. There are 32 clickable spots in this picture, open the lids, turn 'em on and give 'em a whirl. Go ahead, you know ya want to. :)

Questions?

turn 'em on and give 'em a whirl

I'm lovin' these new living photos. My Question is how do I hold my mouth just right to get the washer to turn on and whirl? I'm clicking and clicking and I see lots of lovely photos, but maybe I'm missing something.

You really rock, Robert.
Looking at your machines makes me happy. It's that simple. And I also continually turn all my friends onto this site and it makes them happy too.

Here's a thought for the future....maybe the living photos could even host 'living stereo' sound samples of the various noises the machines make~.

We might be able to smell them through the computer too some day, but that's probably further off.

Is there a light bulb next to the pump of the ABC-O-Matic? For illumination when servicing the mechanics?

Hi Theo, good catch! That light buld is used to illuminate the Pilot Light that lights when ever the machine is running. It is in a silly spot down near the bottom of the machine, but since the outer cabinet is the outer tub there really is no room for it under the top. The timer and water temperature controls are at the end of two long rods that reach down to where that lower panel is to turn the switch or timer.

How fun! It's like getting to poke and peek at the machines! That's fantastic!! I'll have to explore photographing machines like this in the future!

ABC-O-Matic pilot light

Thank you for turning the machine on Robert. I've always thought that that was a finger hole for removing the lower panel.

Now that is display. I don't think one gets that kind of detail when looking at new appliance sites. very fun!

Since we're talking ABC-O-Matic now, I had a look at Youtube and look what I found. A short movie of the ABC-O-Matic. And those clothes look very familiar!

Hi Rich, no that's been gone for years, parts were used to restore my 1955 Laundromat.

Since we're talking ABC-O-Matic now, I had a look at Youtube and look what I found. A short movie of the ABC-O-Matic. And those clothes look very familiar!
Well I see some unknown person has boosted one of my videos right off of this website and posted it on YouTube, the nerve, hmmp! Maybe I need to watermark my videos like the television networks do, maybe an agitator going up and down!LOL

solution

Robert - Will you be eventually giving the answer to where all the clickable spots are? I sure hope so.

You've got me stumped completely.

Hi Bob, most are very easy to find. In the first picture there is a "secret picture" which the hotspot is very small. (Hint it's one of the white dots in the pattern on the floor tile).
