Nice set Chris! Bet you will have just "Loads" :) of fun with those. And you can't beat the price for the set either, especially for their condition. Can you post a picture of the inside of the washer? I have never seen the inside of that kenmore model.

Dennis

here is kens agitator the washer came from the boston area and the dryer came from wash state the were cheap and i got lucky with shipping for what ever reason i think craters is giving me a discount it was only like 425 total for both to be shipped. so was happy with that. the washer had a sticky wig wag but i cleaned that and she is fine the orig timers still work on both. i always wanted a flat top set.

Memories

We had the same Kenmore Washer. Parents bought it in 1950. It had to be set up on cinder blocks in the basement due to frequent flooding. What was cool was that Dad suspended the hose on a hanger way up above the tub....I am guessing if it was hung on the tub, it might have started siphoning water from the machine. So, you can imagine the fun a four year old could have watching (or forty year old!!!) all that water come splashing down into the tub. All that and no safety spin switch...YAY!!! I saw a really good looking one (same model) in someones trash about a year ago....I wanted to take a look....but my darling wife and kids were having a FIT. I am so glad I can share these thoughts where people really understand those of us that need our appliance fix!!!
