Back in the day, when 1/2 the street would show up to see the New One, They were the Freedom Maker for many a housewife, many a teenager too. I always thought Sears had such nice appliances. | ||

I've not seen that model before. Those hardwood chopping block tops were the real thing. 24 x 24" plus of almost 2 inches of solid wood. Can you image buying a portable today with that? No way. At best it would be 3/4" thick "wood look" laminate. | ||
