Well chances are I probably won't, but if I ever find an Apex at a sale, it's yours (after I play with it of course).

As for the machine you found in '96 that was 43 years old, did it still work at the time or did you have to make a few repairs?

If no repairs were necessary, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a perfectly good machine around with lots of life left (besides the outer tub/cabinet rust issue).

While you're digging in your warehouses, I would like a 1956 Bendix Power Surge Automatic washer. The sooner the better in case it needs a new cord or something, I'd love to have it for the convention!

That Bendix looks just like a modern-day Calypso inside! How did Whirlpool get a pantent on the Calypso design with that one so close to it!

Oh from what I've seen it seems Whirlpool has a way with getting all the patents they want.
