Brought home a Kenmore 600 portable DW tonight, in phenominal shape and with manuals. Not sure how old it is though-- any KM experts out there got an idea? The model # is 587.64450. The serial is 87981. Its a top-loader with a split-removable Roto-Rack on top. Not the '74 KM Roto-Rack i have on my dream list, but it does have 9 or so lights on the 600! Can't test it yet, don't have the adapter for the faucet. Tomorrow or the next day, though... Picts forthcoming later!

Typical of Kenmores of that era any how, the first three #'s are the source code (ie who manufactured it for Sears) 587. the first 2 digits following are the year it was manufactured and or intended to be sold in, hence as coldspot opined, most likely 1964. I bet it is cool looking. hurry and post. It should only require your basic hardware store unicouple fitting.
