Just watched this programme on Discovery Real time (uk).
He was remodelling a laundry room and the appliance looked like an Admiral 80's washer and dryer
Not wanting to sound hallow .... but Mike Holmes!!!! What a hottie! He took my eye away from the appliances (for just a second!!!)
Handsome, rugged, muscular, and wearing Carhart dungarees!!!!
Anyone else seem this man?
Apart from that...it does highlight how the average Joe can be ripped off when it comes to having So called tradesmen working on our homes. I personally have learnt a lot!
Watch it.... you won't be disappointed lol!
Peter

Peter, I would love to get a look at him. Is this a Discovery program that would be available in the U.S.? I'm not much of an appointment TV kind of guy so would have to scan the listings for it.

Actually this program has been on HGTV here in Canada for quite some time now. I believe that Mike Holmes is from Toronto and that is where the show originates.

Discovery Home

"Holmes On Holmes" airs on Thursdays and Fridays on the Discovery Home channel; it may also be available through some cable firms over the On Demand feature.
And yes, I agree--Mike Holmes is a hottie. He can loosen my lug bolts anytime!

I've seen his show a few times.
He needs to grow some hair, though.

Who was the tall TALL blond guy, I assume from the U.S. east coast, maybe going back to the late 90s that did home improvements?
sexy bald spot, HAIRY - Yum, knowledgable, wore glasses did I say hairy and thin.
He can re-work the ball cock in my bathroom, anytime!

So pleased to hear I am not the only to find him hot!!!
I think the show does originate from Canada.....
and yes.... my ball cock could do with a little attention too!
But thats another story for another forum lol!

I thought of his name last thing before going to sleep last night.
HARVEY . Don't know his last name. On the show he had a female counter part that would do lesser segments. I think it originated in a south eastern state.

Mike Holmes is Canadian, and all of the homes featured on Holmes on Homes are in Canada, most of them in Ontario, with the majority here in Toronto. He is also a consultant for The Home Depot Canada's Expert Installation Division as well.

I spent like an hour last night looking for this guy named HARVEY. First name.
He had a home improvement show in like the late 90s early 2000's.
He may still have a show. I don't watch that stuff anymore.
He was tall, thin, blond, balding, glasses, had a female counterpart and I think it was out of a South Eastern state.
Everything I came accross on line was for current shows.
If anyone knows who I am referring to let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

Toronto... my favourite city in the world....

So would not expect Mike Holmes to work anywhere else !!!!!
I love my other half very much but.... if Mike decided to bat for the other side and liked bulkier men.....

Photo shows my other half... the one with the blue tee shirt! Gorgeous!!!
