Yeah...they sure did...in cleaning ability at least. Although it had the highest overall score, CR basically said "Think twice about new-technology top-loaders. Although they have done well in our tests, they're not among our top picks. They are not very gentle on clothes and leave them tangled. Stick with a front loader for an HE machine." So, go figure....highest rated, but not recommended. That makes sense. (NOT!) |

is probably why CU testing isn't as in depth as it used to be,not a whole lot to differentiate between the few u.s. tl manufacturers that are left. |

I think when it comes time for another washer, I'll look for some dependable used machine instead of high priced new technology that doesn't work. Jerry |
