Hello Guys, not been around much recently, so thought I’d give you an update on my Aqualtis, a year on!

It does around 8 to 10 cycles a week, and nothing has gone wrong with the machine at all. It has survived one house move, less the transit bolts and still continues to function well.

As mentioned in an earlier thread, the only one problem I do have is the noisy pump. It is silent when washing, and the motor makes a lovely humming noise when spinning, but the bloody pump always makes a noise. I am guessing it’s a cheap one, fitted to some of the crappier Indesit Machines.

I am getting pretty bored of it now though, I generally only keep my machines for a year and then buy another one – anyone on here fancy a swap??

I have made a new video as well - it is a quick overview of the machine, and a short clip of it washing my trainers in Persil Non Bio. Hope its of some interest. Apologies for the speed I am talking at! Only had 27 seconds to do it in. Follow the link

Also attached a photo of myself, thought it was about time I introduced myself to the group!

Chris

Hey you!

Hi Chris

Nice to see you in here - we've met before, but I had no idea you were a washer fan!

Welcome back chris!
Haven't seen you on here for a while! Nice vid of the machine, your machine has done well to survive the 8-10 loads and the housemoves! Its done better than other aqualtis's around!

I thought it was just me that got bored with machines within a yr lol:D

What a great idea. A tradeoff on the forum!

Darren

Aqualtis

Hello Chris,
I'm glad your Aqualtis is serving you well they are a good machine. I will really miss my Aqualtis when it goes back; I have discoloured paint on the front of my AQGD169S where a sticker reacted with the paint. I had a quick look at the pump in my machine, it appears to be an Askoll pump.
