I remember those being for sale throughout the 70's. Not sure if they go back to the 60's or not. You could get them from the Consumers Distributing catalog / stores and I think either Woolco or Kmart sold them as well. No longer made as far as I know however a different make still is.. Carocelle and here's the website. BTW I think Consumer Reports tested them at one time and they didn't do very well. Oh? I'm guessing that they might have SOLD that many, but I question how many are actually in use today. -kevin |
