I would like the members of the AW club to tell me all about Thor. I once had a Thor wringer washer. Green and cream speckled (If I remember correctly) tub, with cream colored legs. I was looking at this site one day, and was reminded of that machine. Then today, saw an old movie and a washer was in one of the scenes. Which made me want to know more about Thor. What happened to them, etc. Thanks. I know you guys will know all about them.

Thor's still around, though their products are badge-engineered nowadays, I understand (the Thor name put on appliances made overseas). I think someone here (peteski50?) knows who actually makes them- perhaps he'll chime in.
