Here you are the other machine (they're 3 togheter with the old Ignis and the old Sangiorgio)...it's a Top loading...horizontal axis of course!

The control panel

Push buttons and three knobs...the central dial is still trendy...isn't it!? :-))

Let's oen the lid...

You've got a direct acces to the drum, no sliding (or other system door) intermediate to close the outertub...I don't completely agree with this system because I feel it more noise than if the tub were independent...as AskoFL i.e.

The dispensers are just there under the lid...this is either a thing to complain because not always all kind of detergent can be solved with a so little "spray"... I use the ball-dispenser with liquid detergent in the drum!

...and at the end the drum open...

here you are! The agitators are 3 not only one as Thomson or Brandt or Sangiorgio...the other 2 you cannot see but there are :-)

Wow, kind of like a Staber washer. I didn't know Whirlpool made TLHA washers! Vids of operation please?

Great pictures!! I've never seen this model overhere in the Netherlands, until now we only had the models with the mechanical timers. I noticed that the Italian Whirlpool site shows some new models too. I wonder how long it will take before they arrive overhere.

My Italian isn't very good, but I understand what all the dials and buttons are for, except for one I am not sure about. It's "Avvio Ritardato". Is that a Start Pause button?

About the detergent dispenser, yesterday I saw an older Whirlpool at thriftstore. The fabric softener was pretty gunked up and on the older model the dispenser couldn't be removed to be cleaned. Is that possible with your machine?

Thanks for sharing these pictures with us!

Ciao!!

Luigi

Diomede would you please post a picture of that bottle of detergent with the green top, thanks. It looks like the 2nd style of Ariel/Fairy bottle we had here 15 years ago before the Ariel Ultra style took over and evolved into the bottles we have today. :) thankyou

"Avvio Ritardato"

Louis, it means "Delay timer"...allow you to set your washing machine ad let i start (in my case) 2-4-6-8 hours later...I use it very often to set it befor bedding and find all done the following day...so the machine goes during the night (the laundry is in the basament and the bedrooms at 1st floor).

The AVVIO is under the spin knob.

In this washing machine fortunately you can easly take out the det-dispenser... infact I do it every two cycles!

Robert, I use DASH, wich is the most sold washing machine detergent together with DIXAN since TIDE has no been solding any more...that's from the late 1950s!!!
