Is that the toploading version of our W1918?

Slick!

I covet one of these!! - I only have room for a h-axis TL and currently have a Hotpoint. I want the Rolls Royce so Miele is my goal. The UK version of this has a control panel on the front and is VERY sexy looking. Would love to get hold of this model with the mirrored lid.

You just know if one of us here got that washer, would spend hours each day/after each use polishing that SS lid interior to keep it shiney and bright! *LOL*

Is that a real Miele or a Re-branded Staber? Just curious.

No, it is the real McCoy. Miele sells a fair amount of top-loading "front loaders" in Europe, especially in France where such machines are VERY popular. Such machines give the benefits of H-Axis washing, but can fit into spaces a 5kg traditional machine would not. Also many people like them because of top loading ease of use.
