I thought I would give this posting a bump hasn't anyone retrofitted a newer motor into one of these older machines? Or was there a big design change? Hope someone has some advice. | ||

John, I am not sure on all the specifics on the AMP motor, but I do know that it was a cradle motor, and I also assumed that it was 1/3 HP 1725 RPM unit. If someone out there could confirm the motor diameter and shaft length/diameter (assumed 1/2in dia, or 48Y frame) on their unit, we could see if this match I found at work would fit for an AMP (it could be wired for CW rotation only).
