Does anyone know anything about the PAV
series of Maytag TL machines?

What's the good, the bad and the ugly on this series machine?

thanks!

That's a Norgetag!

These are the old Norge design that Maytag reworked somewhat as they whored the old Maytag name around the streets. I think these are fun machines to watch, but not the best mechanical design.

97 huh?
A prof. I work for has that washer. I'm impressed, it still runs. Didn't the Norgtags have a life expectancy of about what...3 years?
I don't think she's ever had that washer repaired...she must be lucky as hell.

At least they work well, and at least she bought the Norge, not the stupid SAV-tags, known for severe transmission leakage and horribly loud "Squacking" noise in the wash/rinse cycle.

I meant to say, those SAV-Tags are known for severe main tub leakage.
