While on my holiday to Melbourne Victoria, i also visited and purchased the following machines and spare parts from people who responded to my Wanted adverts.

The first pics are of the 1966 Simpson Fluid Drive automatic that has been sitting in someone's shed for 20 years. Apart from a few cosmetic details, its in pretty good condition.

Leon

1972 Kelvinator Automatic

mayfan69's profile picture
This is a 1972 Kelvinator which is in remarkably good condition. While its not an "orbital", its still a good machine to have.

Leon, well what can I say but Fantastic, a hawl of classic machines..that Simpson looks like it could Shred the clothes clean with that tub, most unusual, would love to se how the water moves around with all those vanes!!

The Kelvy, is in lovely detail, those push buttons look so slick...does it have a seperate hose for the Sudz Return??

Wilkins Servis - well I`ve given up of anyone of yours being a UK model, this looks a solid machine, surprised to see a Maytag interior...where any of the Wilkins Servis machines of the UK model line??

That sounds like a perfect trip and a holiday...

Great Stuff, Mike

Those Simpson tubs look like the inside of a rocket nozzle.

How are the conditions of these machines? Does the fluid drive work Simpson work?

That Kelvy really is a beauty it is tested in the 1976 Choice magazine washer test. All those buttons and the same but different agitator. TOPS!
