My 6+ month-old Duet HT washer has developed a problem with the fill valve not shutting off completely. Water will dribble out onto the boot, or onto the door glass which then routes it onto the floor unless I keep the door open enough for the protruding glass to clear the dripping. This can be just a few drops over the course of an hour, or when it's bad, it's nearly a constant dripping. I don't know if it's the hot or cold valve.

I'm going to call in this repair once I know for sure that the machine is going to do this after every wash. Right now sometimes it doesn't.

So is this a common weak spot with Duets? Anyone else have this problem?

Ralph

ralph, I've never read about this problem before in the modern forums I observe.

Bob, I've posted the problem over on the appliance blog site to see if it gets more play over there.
