Both are in great cosmetic shape! This is the old Westinghouse design (rear-mounted lint filter, speckled porcelain tub, side-opening lid) which is much better than the plastic machines. The washer works great, and the seller sanded and painted the bleach dispenser area (rust is a common problem with these). The dryer needs a new motor start winding (I wonder if you could spin the drum to get it going manually...).

My guess is that they are from the late 1980's, more like 1987 or 1988. Our '86 had the same cycles/options as this one, except I remember a slightly different back-opening lid and "chrome" knobs instead of black.

I'd get these except they're 1000+ miles away. One of these days...
