Very nice!

Great pic. Thanks for the post.
I wonder if this is the one that they will be building for the "Fridgemore" lines.
It is very attractive.
Is this version coming out in the US?
Do you by chance read what the size the drum is?
Does it have a heater?
Thanks again for the post.
Brent

Pretty machine!! If they are made for the Australian market they will definitely have a heating element. Washers without heaters are IIRC only made for the 110V market.

Few Details

mrb627's profile picture
The only details I could pick up from the web page are capacity 6kg, heater=yes, max spin=1600. I cannot get the web page to convert to english properly. Perhaps someone else can try. Also, they do not have a manual online for this model yet.

AEG 86800

Yup, it's Electrolux's version of this... This is an AEG Lavamat 86800 and matching 57800 Condenser dryer

The AEG actually looks a bit nicer, IMO.

The Electrolux reminds me of the Siemens washers with the central dial. And the doorhandle looks a bit like the ones on the old Constructa washers, although these were white.

I havent seen one - yet.

I haven not seen this particular Electrolux washer in any stores here in Sydney. I dont even find it on the energy rating website where you can compare all models on sale.

However Electrolus may release it, they are making a big push on the market with there own branded appliances, as well as a big advertising push for Simpson and Westinghouse.
