My white 1960 Frigidaire Custom Imperial dryer arrived today! Wow-it is in such good shape to be 47 years old! It needs alittle TLC- cleaning, polishing, etc. I am very happy with my first appliance to my collection! Thanks to Mark for being so kind, helpful ! Mark, you are a real example of a true team player! Now, to find the matching washer (WCI-60)! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! May you have the best of the holiday's !!!!!!

When ya find the washer, it's said to bring good karma, that's what's been said. anyway, when the dryer is found, the washer isn't too far behind. Sometimes, a matched set shows up next.

I will post some pics in the coming days. Can anyone suggestion the best cleaning solutions for dryer? Cleaner for chrome? Lightedcontrols ( Mark ) said not to use anything with bleach in it. Feel free to give me some cleaning advice.

There is such a thing as chrome polish at any auto related stores.

Derrick - my choice is the easy one - Turtle Wax Chrome Polish. Found at Sam Walton's store or any auto parts store.

I can't remember the name of the stuff I've seen Greg use - shimmy chrome?

Simichrome polish. It works very well - a little 000 or 0000 steel wool to smooth it out, then polish and it's like new again!

I also like the Turtle Wax too - elbow grease is half the battle anyway.
