Standard capacity model washer with turquoise agitator. Must be either an A207, or A208. Hope they find a good home.

Have a good one,
James

Not much of a Maytag fan but they're close to where I live...what year are they and are they worth saving? I love matched sets!

They're worth the asking price. I just sold a similar set for $125.00, gas dryer.

Older than Abe Lincoln and ugly??? Oy, and all these years I thought they were the most beautiful machines, and much younger than me! Geez, I'm going to go dig my grave and jump in now.

Older than Abe Lincoln and ugly.

Some people just cannot appreciate true beauty. He'll be wishing he kept these in 3 to 5 years.

Have a good one,
James

I Think These Are the Same As Mine:

These look like an LA108 washer and a DE608 dryer. Late '70s, and the dread Almond. That's the only thing I wish was different about my pair- they looked white in the Craigslist photo I bought them from.

Those look very clean. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The seller thinks they're ugly but it's just a matter of taste, not about condition from the looks of those nice machines. A pair like this could show up closer to home for you, but who knows when. If you have reason to head towards Martinzez, you should swing by and get them. Only problem is they could end up going before you get there.
