Ok, know this auction is for an advert, but I ask you; how simply adorable.

My sympathy to any mom who had to keep that crew under control while their uniforms were being washed. I'm guessing the kid with the bat is in charge of discipline, ha-ha. Very cute, indeed, Launderess!

Other Great Adverts

You are welcome all! Glad others besides myself appreciate these things.

What those sort of adverts remind me of was growing up in another time, which seems so removed. A time when children went out to PLAY, rather than sit around watching TV or playing video games. No fancy or expensive toys, just simple imagination or a bat and ball.

Question, what make of washing machine was the one in the advert based on? Or, was it just a mock up?

By the by, the seller has some other great laundry related adverts up for auction.

To show a few, if one has time it might be worthwhile to visit sellers "other auctions" page. But have a coffee or bevy of choice handy, there are 32 pages.

Lauderess---I thought it looked like a Philco front-loader. A very s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d Philco front-loader.
