We just bought this dishwasher. What do you guys think? It was a spur of the moment thing to but a new one in the first place.

I think you'll love it!No pre rinsing just scrape and load.I doubt seriously if you'll hear it running unless you're right in front of it.Congrats!!!Try the Electrosol tablets!

Hi David

I have a similar machine the SGS56E12GB and I love it! It's very quiet and the loading is very good! The programmes are not over long too. The only thing about your machine is that it doesn't have the intensive program which I tend to use most of the time. However, the auto program should be fine.

I hope you really like it!

Rob

Thanks for you comments!

My partner and I rarely cook anything too bad. The worst offenders are pasta bakes i think! The dish is cleaned well in our wee Kenwood dishwasher so it shouldn't be a problem! I'm looking forward to the racking as we had a Bosh made hotpoint when i was younger. I think it was a 7128... was a great machine. Only got scrapped becasue the washing machine leaked and rusted the bottom of the dishwasher.

I am looking forward to the lack of noise too. I'm sticking with Finish until i hear otherwise! From the looks of it Electrasol and finish are made by the same folk.

Waiting for the shop to arrange delivery! They phoned my partners old number even though he gave them mine. Its annoying!!!

Bosh SGS56E12GB

Hey Rob! Were actually getting your dishwasher now. We ordered ours from Next becasue we cleared our card. Next had a two week wait for the one we were getting. So we thought we'd see how much the next one up was. At a whopping £13 difference were getting this one now. The wife liked the Eco button on it lol.

David

Heres a picture of it haha. Getting it on tuesday hopefully. Were getting the frigdge on tuesday anyway!

Hi David, grand choice made, I`m sure you will be pleased with them!!! I`ve had Bosch / Siemens machines for 15yrs and have great results & reliability from them!!

I reccomend using the Finish powder with seperate salt & rinse aid, I always flick a few grains of powder ont the door for the auto pre-wash, so all that oils & tomato juice doesnt stain the other stuff and tub before the pre-wash!!

Cheers, Mike

Hi David

I think you have made a wise choice. It's always good to have an intensive wash from time to time.

I really like the baskets in this machine particularly the fact you can move the cutlery basket around and it has a knife rack.

Happy washing, I hope it works out well for you.

Rob

Thank you! I'm sure it will. My parents bought a hotpoint DWF34 with the same baskets and filter. I never realised they were still being made by Bosch!

Its coming on tuesday! I feel a bit disgusting saving up dishes for the dishwasher but hey, i can live with it!

Hey Dubstar!! We're almost neighbours!!

We have a 3 year old slimline Bosch exxcel and it doesn't often disappoint!!
I do wish I had an intensive programme ( for the real heavy stuff) but the auto programme does the business 99% of the time. What I do love (and used most of the time) is the quick and eco programmes... they do the business for dishes immediately after eating!

Best of luck with your new machine!!
Peter

Well its here and i washed a load on the auto program and it cleaned great! Loading it up was easy as pie. I love the racking since it seems to cater for everything would want to wash in the machine.

Bit of bother installing it but i got it in the end! woo hoo! The new fridge is doing well too. Well its cold!
