I LOVED my WP DW with the Power-clean module. It was fantastic!

Bought it in 1991 (as a portable machine) and it is still running.

Looks awfully familiar!!

Isn't it ironic that they illustrated the powermodule that went into the Kitchenaid 23 series machines?
By that time Kitchenaid was well esconsed under the WP umbrella.

I would love to see the patent application for the Hobart pump assembly used on the 21 series which was more than 10 years earlier! Anyone have a link to that?

Of greater interest are the additional patent links there showing the Hobart 15 series pump patent app as well as the Waste King pump with the rising drain stopper operated by the solenoid below the motor.Once again..familiar to me in more ways than one!
Anyone remember the first Kitchenaid dishwashers as well as the original Hobart UM machines which utilized the lifting standpipe/overflow drain design? That goes back to the mid to late 40's!I guess it proves the addage of what was old eventually becomes new again!
