Hello I now have to get rid of my Hotpoint 15709 super de luxe top loading automatic. I dont want anything for it, it is working perfectly and i have serviced it (seals etc) Visually it is a bit tatty and could do with some TLC to bring it back to looking good
just want to say thanks for doing those videos (linked in the other thread)...at long last I get to see my favourite machine in action again! Much more stable spin and quiter in wash than I remember - my aunt's 9600 had a very violent spin cycle and I though the agitation was around a full 360 degree stroke...but then I am going back to 1991 ish when I stuck my finger on the filter clean tray during the wash!
Despite having sized up a spot in my bedroom for a dream appliance, I'm afraid the bronze baby cannot really be mine; however much my heart wants it, the head says no. Hey-ho... Besides, it needs to go to a collector who can restore the good looks beyond a spritz of pledge (or whatever)!
I just hope it goes to a good home.
Don't suppose you could start stacking the front loaders to maximise space?
