Hi
I am thinking of getting the new zanussi in silver, however I can't get my head round to which one to get.
The znaussi ZWF16581S Jetsystem or the essential ZWF14280S?
They're both silver to match kitchen!
Which has faster washes?
Comments welcome!
Thanks!

Its gotta be the Jetsystem...

I dont know if the default washes are quicker but I only ever use the "short" cottons programmes(usually with extra rinse) on my Electrolux Insight-they start at 1hr 20 odd but do adjust to 1hr 35ish with a larger load. The results are always excellent :).

Oh before anyone says I do use the Synthetic and delicates programmes as well- again usually the short versions!

I've just found out that the cotton program lasts about 1h25 however the short button adjusts it to 55!
This is the essential model! Not Jetsystem!
Pretty Quick!

Nice lookin machine there! I wish you the best of luck with it if you get one! :D My thoughts on Zanussi's have dramatically changed since we purchased a 2006 Jetsystem Progress machine Terrible machine and made it just to 14months old! I really hope they have sorted out their issues as these models do look quite nice :D
I agree the Extra Quick option on mine was quite impressive sometimes, but mine refused to add extra water to the wash if it was needed - dont be put off by this though as I think it was just mine,it was never right from day one LOL!

Very best of luck with your choice, keep us posted!

Richard

The first Zanussis I ever saw were commercial models in an old Speed Queen laundry center at an A&P shopping center in Baltimore at Frankford Avenue and Sinclair Lane.Just off of Radike Avenue. There was also a FRIGIDAIRE laundry center that had the first perferated tub coin ops in it.They were harvest gold, had the window lids and the Deep Action Agitators in grey not the two tone blue.Within 3 years, the FRIGIDAIRE laundry center had already replaced 2/3 of the top loading models with Wascomat front loaders. They just weren't built to take the abuse the older Unimatics could.
