How do I scan this ? She's off to the Market while the "Dial's set and the soaps in and her clothes will be automatically washed and damp dried". And look at that outfit.

I love this ad - I ripped the same one from a stash of old magazines my aunt had in her basement (among others) and still have it today. I wanted one of those Bendix washers in the worst way (and the dress ;-) ...now I have the washer and don't like it and no longer have the figure for the dress! Funny how life works, isn't it?

Here you go. It's not in color, though. There must have been a budget cutback when they had it printed in my issue!

Whoops, its a slightly different ad! Maybe the same model, though?

Here's one from 1943. It must have been a small ship if one lil Bendix could do all the wash!

Carriages have morphed into some sort of cross between an SUV and an RV.

Great Danes I guess eat too much, and you know what that leads to . . . Not the best fit for today's busy lifestyles.
