I like this design, it's not that bad, can we compare to your machine? Anyway isn't that machine 7KG and standard size? (85x60x60cm) |

Me thinks beauty is in the eye of the beholder...I quite like the new look & design, not sure about the model number though (WMD)...that phrase has been well used!!! Unless the spec size is wrong on the comet website the sizes compared to the WT960 seems odd: WT960 H x W x D 85 = 59.5 x 58 = 7kg Load WMD960 H x W x D 85 = 59.5 x 56.5 = 8kg Load If this has internal components like the Aqualtis, then I say great, most of the Ultimas I`ve sold / know of need the engineer in the spare bedroom just to keep tightening the drum & support system....that door looks very solid.. |

They'll be Hotpoint-Ariston fairly soon. It's already happened elsewhere. |

Hmm. The new machines are quite nice. However, my current 960 is due to be moved on i feel. Though overall its been a good machine. Little things are beginning to niggle at me now i've had it for 6months. its bugging me how cheap the suspension is and the machine can take a ridiculous amount of time to balance, my boss is going to do me a really good deal on an insight if i decide to go for it. Which i might. Darren |

Hotpoint-Ariston - rather like what happened to Philips-Whirlpool in the 1980s (just swap the name order around!). |

We took delivery of the new hotpoint wfm740 7kg 1400 in white. I like the look of the machine, its looks much better than the pictures i saw on the net! Still has a hotpoint drum! Baby program! This adds in the words of the manual "Considerably more water than normal" For baby soiling and skin care. ECO progs- This is the frightening bit, cotton synthetic and fast wash programmes at........BELOW 30 DEGREES! Yikes. developed with ariel i hope they made a cold water detergent, theres gonna be problems with smells and slime in these i think! The plus point of these programmes is their is a 50% energy saving! I'm off to hotpoint HQ for a training session on 18th april! Lookin forward to it! Darren |
