Rather than having one deep-rinse using the original wash water level, why not have two deep rinses, but use half the original water level. And maybe a 3/4 speed agitation as to not be too rough on clothes. Anyone think this would improve rinsing? or since it's still the same amount of overall water the results would be the same. Just a thought... (sometimes my mind daydreams about washing machines...LOL!)

Effective rinsing requires dilution, which means plenty of water.

I'm thinking a fairly well-loaded machine(large load) won't have any tunover, and may damage clothing.

Maybe a filter-flo kind of water-fall and a SLOW "spin" would wet all itmes and flush out the suds. I have a feeling this is how the "high-efficiency" top-loaders (some with wash-plates) do it.

Who can prove me wrong/right? LOL

I'm still for saving RINSE water to reuse for washing, assuming no chemicals are added to the water in the rinse and the water can be re-heated.

Of course the user has to be smart enough NOT to cross-contaminate by saving contaminated rinse water that may have bacteria, fecal matter etc in it for reuse.
