Does anybody know how the door springs work on a G 572 dishwasher. The door flops down with no resistance. I can't find any schematics online.

The unit looks very enclosed, so before I pull it out (just installed 3 days ago) I would like to have an idea of what I'm in for, and if the parts are available.

If I'm not wrong, it goes 2 wires from the door, to a pair of springs in the bottom of the machine. Maybe one or both of these is defect. Most Miele dishwashers has very little resistance in the door.

Thanks Tom, one of these days I'll pull it out and look.
