I soaked the 1-18 agitator's base in a bucket. That black rubber cone thing under the plastic agitator stack.

I soaked it overnight in 6 oz glycern and 1.5 gal hot water in a bucket.

Checking it tonight after a day of soaking I found...

It turned brown. it was black. it is now light brownish yellow.

hmmm....not at all what I expected.

Anyone else have this occur?

Turned back to black

The agitator turned back to black.
I'd left it out on the workbench overnight.
