Hi Guys, Another phone call and another unique washer is found. This is a 1967 Wilkins Servis "Mark 22" 2 Speed Deluxe Automatic. Not many of these were sold here in Oz before Wilkins Servis went to making Maytag's under licence. The washer was working when it was put in the shed some years ago, but i'll find out when i get the machine delivered to my home. Mike in the UK has been looking for one of these as well. Hope he finds one as well. The pics are from a disposable camera, so the quality isn't great and ive scanned 2 pictures together in case anyone is confused. If anyone wants to know, the buttons from left to right are marked: Hot / Warm / Cold / Hi / Lo / Delicate / Regular Wash/ Wash/ Wash/ Fill/ Fill/ Fabrics/ Fabrics Cheers Leon |

Beautiful! IIRC that is the Automatic model that appears on the back cover of the instruction manuals. I have a Wilkins Servis twin tub manual at home. Love the big "Wilkins Servis" script on the control panel. |

Well done Leon What a find, and it looks in great shape!!! this is indeed like the proverbial Holy Grail, our Servis All-Fabric MK41, with light grey/blue tub and the snap-on Power Fin two stage washing action... Even the dial is the same but ours had smaller dials of the same style and shape etc... Does this machine have a heater?? the outer bowl looks to have a dip/well where it would be seated.. Heck, look at the size of the capacitor, wouldnt like to be on the end of that discharging...LOl Heres what ours looks like, we can dream!!!, enjoy, Mike |
