FAINT...tho' it don't match my dryer would LOVE to have her! Just can't swing the shipping $$$. I think Jons1077 has one just like this? IIRC it has 800 rpm final spin, quite impressive for such a little tyke :-)

Very nice looking washer!

I did spot this on ebay last night. I think this is a 1974 or 76 model? It is basically the exact same machine but it is strictly portable. Mine is convertable. The difference between the two is only minor; convertables have a temp selection and portables don't. You also notice how the hoses and cord have retractable storage. The convertables don't have that. THe hoses and stuff are wrapped around a holder in the back.

This actually is such a good washer. Of course capacity is so small but it does a great job of washing and rinsing. The lint filter actually does a nice job as well. That simple little agitator is almost too powerful if you ask me.

Unfortunately, the price on this is way, way too high. I bought mine for $75 and it was basically brand new (1984) and unused. $225 is insane!!! I'm sure we'll be seeing it again.

Have the matching dryer, except it is Whirlpool.

Would love this unit, but alas no room, so will have to pass.

Wow... wish I was closer and the price was more reasonable. I got a machine like this last year but everything was so toasty, I ended up parting it out. I still have the mini-surgilator and the tranny, if anyone needs 'em.

I got this same washer from my cousin for an exchange of a full size.
She got it used and it was 5 years old when she got it.
She is a nurse and raised her son from baby to age 7 with this machine.
It did a ton of wash. I had it for a year and sold it.
Last I heard it was still going.
Another single mother with 2 kids.
