Hey everyone, i've just had my Dyson contrarotor serviced before selling and was well impressed with Dysons service. They not only came out in two days they also emailed me confirmation and the engineer called to give me his mobile phone number and to tell me what time he would come. I can't remember getting that sort of service from anyone else in the past.

Anyway my machine had gone and killed itself at full spin when one or both motors failed resulting in alot of burning smell and fumes which stank us out of the house for a few hours lol.

I'd forgotton this machine has two motors fitted to it. I needs them to turn that gearbox to make the drums go both ways. Its all fixed now with two brand spanking new motors. The machine had been refurbished when i bought it but they had fitted duff motors to it but Dyson were happy to change them anyway. It now runs really quietly but i'm putting it on ebay because due to an imminent house move i'm not lugging this thing about its way to heavy at 103 Kgs.

I got my vintage AEG to use for the time being and will probably think up something else to buy when i've moved like a Hoover vision lol.

Steve

Well Darren I've been watching them lately on ebay and seem to fetch £200-270 ish in good order so i've done buy it now £250 and started bidding at £50. Nah I don't want your Hottie ta lol I'm trying to reduce my appliances to make moving into our new house easier cause my back won't take it.

The new house however has a utility room for 4 or 5 washers plus with a 21ft shed with power etc room for even more heh heh but the other half might not approve!
