Oh Man...

I would LOVE to have one of those for my kitchen. I've got the perfect place right next to the sink where it would go.

I'm assuming it uses automatic dishwasher detergent (Cascade, Finish, etc.)?

Why can't they have something this portable in the USA?

Real cool dishwasher. I think all dishwashers should be made like this with a window in them. It actually seems big for a counter model.
Best Of Luck with this unit,
Peter

Vinny,
That is a great looking dishwasher. I am amazed at how many dishes it can hold!
Looks like a lot of fun.
Is the spray powerful?
Thanks for the pictures.
Brent

I'd love a dishwasher with a window!

But then, between watching that and my front loader, I'd never leave the house :P

What fun to have a dishwasher with a window door. That is one neat little machine.

Hmmm???

Great looking dishwasher and excellent concept but one question...
With only a lower washarm sending water upward, and a top arm sending water down.. How clean can anything on top get when you load bowls and pots on the bottom rack?
Seems like it would have been better to design it with an arm under the top rack and replace the top arm with a constant rinse sprayer.

Hi, thanks for the replays..... so let me answer the questions:
yeah, it uses dishwasher detergente, here in brazil the most commun is Sun, finish has arrived here a few months ago, but is tooo expansive, completely aut of the reality. we have some other brands too, but they're unefficient. the best choice is Sun, cleans well and is payable! the rinsing agent is Sun too and here in Brazil we don'te have the necessity to use salt, so the dishwasher even not have a dispenser to salt.

well, the wash arm has a good pressure, but i think it could have most pressure, couse sometimes the glasses don't get tooo clean...
and, as it don't have an wash arm under the top rack, when u wash bowls or pans in the lower rack, u can't put glasses in the upper rack where is the pan.. I agree that the manufacturer could had put an arm under the top rack, but don't know why they didn't.....

ah, u can use it undercounter too, in an special cupboard, but as we don't have even the pipes to put it undercounter, we prefered to put it over the counter, beside the sink... in my opinion, it looks so beauty beside the sink too!!!

Beautiful dishwasher. What are the dimensions/size?
Would you be able to provide a link, please?
May I also request a close-up photograph of the faucet? Ineresting!
Also, since I'm being a pest, would you kindly show the plug and the outlet.

Abrigado! Thank you for posting this!

Hi, as asked i'm posting a pic of the faucet and hooses....

the faucet is a model much used here in brazil in the laundry sink to use with the washer, but i put this faucet in the kitchen sink to be able to use with the dishwasher! here in brazil the dishwashers fill with cold wather (as central hot water isn't commun here) and heats by itself.
in my case it drains in the sink.

I agree with Pete. Our US dishwashers, especially the TOL's should come with windows in them. Why are our appliance manufacturers ALWAYS behind the ball?

NO Windows

I would never get any work done. I would be sitting in front of the dishwasher all day.

Congratulations on your new dishwasher and thank you for sharing the photos. It is very smart looking, almost like a television, but I think having that wash arm hanging down over the top rack reduces capacity. I know what they are trying to accomplish in limited space. With the top sprayer, as I learned from my Maytag, bowl-shaped items can be very effectively washed when loaded facing inward on the perimeter of the top rack. Unfortunately, the rack configuration makes that same space the only place for drinking glasses unless those upside down V-shaped dividers are removable. If plates are loaded in the center of the lower rack, they would not block the spray to items above them, but that area in the top rack lacks usable capacity for tall items. Still, it is an amazing accomplishment and no machine is perfect. What does not fit into one load gives more toward the next load. Best of all, any dishwasher is better than no dishwasher.

I guess that the water heating element is hidden below the screen in the sump. Does it fill with hot or cold water? Does the water heating take a long time?

I hope you have lot of fun with your new dishwasher. Tom

Hi Tom, thanks for your coment....
yeah, i agree with you, the fact that it have only a wash arm under the lower rack, if i put glasses in the center area of the upper rack they come out bad washed, so i use this area to put things faced to the top arm...
about the heating element, yes, it's hidden below the screen. This dishwasher, as all dishwashers here in Brazil is made to be filled with cold water, and thanks to it's high potence (or power, don't know exately what word to use, hehe) of 1700 watts it takes no more than 10 or 15 min to heat the water. The faster program takes 55 min (not considering the drying time, that the machine stay only with the drying light on, but not use the heater or any kind of fun, the dishs dry only with the residual hotness of the last hot rinse with rinse aid at 60ºC (140ºF)). it washes for 30 min, 2 middle rinses of about 5 min each and the last hot rinse for about 15 min, pluz about 25 min of drying time. the normal cicle is the same, but with a pre wash of about 10 min and the pots and pans have a 15 min pre wash and 3 middle rinses instead of 2.
