My Aunty had a Margarita, similar to the one in the picture above, it was white though and Im sure it was a Washer Dryer... I never saw it in action but she didnt seem to have it that long, I dont know why. When I was a kid, my Mum's Aunty had an Ariston which probably dated to the late 70's/early 80's. It used to jump round the kitchen when it was spinning lol, quite frightening really, It must have had quite a low spin speed because I can remember that the washing always went into a spin dryer after the cycle had ended. Ive found a picture of it (it's not great, sorry but you can just about see it, and I had to take a picture of the picture, if you know what I mean so quality aint too good) Thats me washing up lol.... it was 20 years ago! lol

I hope they took the dishes and glasses off the top of it before it hit that spin cycle :)

I was just thinking the same thing lol. I know an old lady who has that exact machine still in her kitchen. It looks very retro now but in excellent condition. She doesn't use it any more though. Perhaps she should give it to me lol.

Lol... they wouldnt last very long if that machine was spinning!!! It was just being used as a table, family party and all that....
Steve, I would try and get hold of that if you can!

Hi Luke, heres an 848 Washer Dryer, this range & style was very popular in the late 80`s, along with the 1258 model, very large chunky dials & door, solid robust machines!!!

Ho JonB, welcome to the club?? I`m sure you will have a few late nights catching up with the vids n pics etc....and not too far away as well!!, how did you find us ??
