My dad worked on Frigidaires most of his life, I don't remember anything like that.

That is one of the oddest ideas I've ever run across. Someone was thinking about diagnostics, sorta kinda, back in the '60s! Of course, unless the machine came from the factory with a built-in diagnostic harness (which I doubt), it probably would have taken longer to hook this gadget up than it would have to just operate the machine with the timer and figure it out from that.

At $10, I may just have to bid on this thing! If no one else here is going to bid, I'll go for it. (But if someone is, say so, and I won't bid against you. I just want to make sure it gets saved.)

Looking at the pictures better, it looks like it was supposed to be plugged into the washer at a quick disconnect harness, say in line where the console wiring connects to the chassis wiring. It's been forever since I've opened one so old, so a question to those who know more: did the older Frigidaires have such a quick disconnect in the main harness?

yes they did...........my '60 multimatic and '65 roller-matic both have quick disconnects that plug into the top of the chassis then the wiring continues on down to the respective solenoids (if they had solenoids) and motor......

If so, I expect a complete report! With scans of the manual!
