Hey Guys,
Well the 2008 zanussi's are out! They've dropped the double branding like it was rumoured not so long ago, so now they just read Zanussi! Aeg is now the mid brand & electrolux the tol!

One main difference is the entire range has been made very basic, their is only 2 machines with time remaining now. Only one jetsystem model. The brochure is online now!

Noticable change on the display is the "auto half load" button, "allows for a manual override to wash smaller loads quickly with less water and energy".

I think its good that they have gone back to the zanussi name rather than zanussi electrolux, too bad about the quality of the machines, they seem somewhat clunked together. I think washing machine manufacturers should take more care into the quality of their machines so that they last longer, because the longer they last the better it is for the environment.

Wouldn't you prefer to have a machine that lasts 20 years rather than 20 minutes?

Electrolux range

Hey darren :)

Do you have any info on why electrolux have discontinued the insight EWN14991W but kept the EWN14991S do ya? I've seen the new one the EWN14791W but thats missing a few of the features of the EWN14991W.

My AEG has gone wrong for the 4th time now, no one seems to know whats wrong with it, their gonna try and replace the PCB again but im not hopful, and if it doesnt solve the problem i get a re-placement, except they've discontinued my machine, so i've been looking at the new AEG range and and electrolux range but since that range is going through the change over its difficult to know whats staying and whats going :)
If they are still doing the EWN14991S silver then i was going to try and go for that one :)
