nice hard to tell if its a GE. love the $10 decrees on electric bill part. aunt has a old hamilton electric dryer and spends no more on electric

Not a GE

This is almost certainly a Whirlpool or Kenmore, probably from the '70s. The fold-down door, the lint filter door on top, and the non-rotating drum back are dead giveaways.

it's a Kenmore 900 if not a Lady Kenmore.

Te he he he.

There is basically ZERO efficiency difference between dryers of the same type, no matter WHAT their age.

Electric to electric
gas to gas
electric condenser to electric condenser.

The difference in the bill may be attributable to less overdrying or the expectation that it is actually existent.

Dryer In Question.....

Gadget Gary:

GE?!?!?!?!?!!!?? Hardly.......

That's a Kenmore......

Now, the question is what model Kenmore is the dryer???

Something tells me it is either a 1966-67 Lady Kenmore or it's a 1969-71 #2 Kenmore.

But a GE it is not.....

Kenmore

It's a Kenmore alright... 68-->69 this one has the electronic sensor for the automatic cycle. These are excellent dryers; I can recommend it if anyone is contemplating it.
