On ebay AU is this Wilkins Servis wringer!

Wilkins Servis were the same machine as the UK Servis made in Australia by the Wilkins company, the same as Whirlpool used to be Malleys Whirlpool because they were WHirlpools made in Australia.

From what I have researched Wilkins Servis made these wringers till the late seventies though they wentout of business not too long after. This appears to be a very early model, hope you all enjoy!

I wish that people who post these machine would take photo shots of the interior so we could see what condition of the basket and the agitator is in. But over all...., it's a nice washer!

Servis SuperHeat

This machine was the "WorkHorse" of the British market, this Superheat was produced in 1957, it holds a 9lb washload with the Hi-Zone wash action.

This model had an electric heater and was also produced with a gas heater as well.

It features the Servis Black agi with 210d wide sweep operation, also has an pump for easy emptying.

I picked up the Model M version of this machine without heater and was amazed at the roll over of the large round tub as opposed to the smaller 6lb square tubs on the twinnys...

It was also produced in a number of colours, this one looks like Pearl White with Lemon Peel Yellow, mine is Honey Cream.

The link is to the new yahoo "Servis Hi-Zone" site with plenty of pics, you might have to log in, let us know what you think:
