you can see the steam rising, too! Wish they sold machines like this in the States at a reasonable price. Instead we are going to have Whirlpool mass produce the Cabrio design. Ho hum...

I like the high-pitched whine it makes while spinning. Seems very smooth, as well.

It's nice that the Euro manufacturers made an effort to make quiet machines back then, something apparently beyond the capacity (or interest anyway) of our domestic makers.
