What should I replace it with?
I'd love a Miele but don't think my parents would pay out that sort of money.
I've heard that Zanussi's are quite reliable
I was thinking about this
1000rpm spin, 6kg load
Is there anything of better quality in a similar price range?

Definately the zanussi! I love zanussi, i'm replacing my hotpoint with one very shortly.

You can get the new ZWF10070W1 quite cheap atm, i think i saw it at £240.

Other than that a bosch or something.

Depends on your price range really!

Steer away from indesitcompany if you can help it. unless u get an aqualtis.

We sell loads of these- well the ZWF12070W1 mostly

Well worth a tenner odd extra for the faster spin ;)

I'd go for the 1200 spin

But I just think it will mean more wear and tear on the machine and the clothes, as well as more creases.
From experience 1000 spins get clothes perfectly dry enough and combined with a larger drum than I'm used to this should be even more apparent. I don't tumble dry, so there won't be any extra costs involved there =]
