is that the one in Swindon? I was going to bid on that as a friend of mine in Bristol is after a replacement for his ancient Hotpoint but the bidding went up to £170.00 so way out of his league. Good luck with it! |

Hi Rich, it should be ok, to lay down for up to a couple of hours, but wouldn't really do any longer. I have had quite a few of these machines over the years, is it the mk2 version, with the 3 controls down the front ? (Kate Rowan machine from Heartbeat) They are really sturdy machines and go on for ever, can be a bit of a nightmare to work if the top needs to come off, as trying to get the top back on usually involves two people, one to sit on the machine and the other to tighten the brackets !!
