I've got a project going to convert a KUDS22 undercounter dishwasher into a portable.

If anyone has a lead on a portable kitchenaid DW case, the guts don't have to work, it would help so very much.

I don't think they made portables for the series 22, but they did for the series 21.

So, please keep your eyes open for a KA case, I sure could use it.
(also could use leads on an upper rack, and push buttons...)

Thanks.

oooo me too. Ah needs a portable. But methinks I have to go to IKEA to get a generic enclosure.

In Greek IKEA is called (mockingly) VLA-KEA ("Stupidity") LOL

Ikea, or an donor unit

The problem with the Ikea cabinate is it's size.
www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/produc...
It's nearly 34" wide, and 36" high. Considering the reason for portable DW is usually a small galley kitchen (my case) having a huge wheel around island dishwasher is not really the optimal solution.

So I'm left thinking almost any dead portable unit, with the KA tub transplated into it, would be a better solution.

delemma: If I want to use a dead portable unit, how can I find such before it is smashed? No one takes out an ebay or craigs list add "dead portable dishwasher for sale, will hold for you" etc.

So keep an eye out for me, thanks.
