Jon, your collection amazes me! Is that a Duomatic in the video? If so what model, I have never seen that one before.

Hi Jon,

I'm glad that it finally arrived in one piece. Air mail is still unbeleiveably expensive so it was the 6-8 week surface route :)

I love Drivematic, with its neutral chemical smell and low suds great rinsing properties. Let me know how you think it compares to the Omo and Duomatic. It's the most expensive supermarket detergent here when its not on sale, and with its high phosphate content, it is terrible for the environment, but gosh it works well.

We should suggested to Unilever that they can now give the product the Bull Terrier woof of approval.

If you need any more, let me know.

Hugs

Nathan

Oh Nathan

Thank you so much, phosphates I love that!
The scent is terrific sort of 1960's fresh clean not this stupid floral-food vanilla based stuff we see today!

Yes I will need more I can tell, I will be going to the bank to get financing to ship the stuff. Even surface is expensive, over here we have no other option for overseas anymore its Airmail or nothing! What is this country coming too?
Don't get me started Nathan!

Terry that is my 1958 Econo Model Duomatic, they made a BOL model for a year or so that had no Heater Element and only 2 choices for wash temperature and no choices for Rinse temperature. And no water level settings,it just fills up and does the wash.

So I am slumming it with this machine- YAY!

The TOL Model had the heater and 5 choices of wash temp and ;oh I'll have to go look but I think; it was 3 choices of Rinse TEMP. And of course a choice of water level settings for those stingy rich people saving water bills in beverly hills & scarsdale etc.

So when I use my TOL model I can pretend I live in Scarsdale!

Isn't this club about conservating all the good old things instead of throwing it away and using modern fangled low quality stuff? ;-)
