You have a KDS-18 ? Why isn't it in service ?
I love my new Regency, but as you know that Superba cleans incredably. Almost wants to make me call You-Crate. By the way, Both cups on Regina are opening on call. Eddie. I really did nothing except take the front panel off and look.

Sometimes, offering substantially more money for an item will magically "unsell" it. :-)

why use the 18 when a 230 will do even better?

Ed,
The 18 I have is a rescue job from the appliance store in Deland, Fl. I upgraded or should I properly say that I restored my KDS20 tank back to a KDS20 from parts taken from one that was removed from someone's condo in Daytona beach since it had a huge rust hole in the hot air duct in the back of the tank.
I had been using another set of 18 mechanicals in the 20 tank for many years and thought it appropriate to make it all original again.
So basically I have a complete 18 that needs to be restored as well as another complete 18 setup needing a tank(watch out KDS19 that's about to be ransacked too in the garage.

Just got that KDSM-21A which I posted pics of. I would like to install that whole machine in my kitchen as our daily driver but since my wife says the 20 takes too long already compared to the 18 we had, she will probably dislike the 21 more, except that it IS alot quieter than the current machine. More like a tropical storm in a box!
So see, I am nearly as bad as you are with your collection except I have them scattered about the house.

I also did some more research into the KUDP02IRWH2 that sits new in the box and it is actuallly a pretty well featured machine;5 cycles with hi temp scour and sani rinse. I would really love to use that one for our daily driver but that would really drive her nuts with its really long cycles especially since our hot water cools down alot between cycle segments due to the lines running under the slab of the house.
But I know it will hold more than the 20 because I have already taken the fully loaded 18/20 and had room to spare when I put everything into the WP DU950 and it has slightly smaller racks than the Kitchenaid KUDP02.

Well one of these days! Right?

So if anyone is interested in the 18 or 21, let me know. I could be persuaded to part with one or both of them! Npt to mention the KUDP02!

That is the exact dishwasher my grandmother had.

Have a good one,
James
